Acceleration is a key strength, thanks to Honda's revolutionary Boosted Low Speed Torque (BLAST™) system. This feature precisely controls ignition timing and the air/fuel ratio to provide rapid "hole shot" performance, getting your boat on plane faster. In testing, the BF60 has been shown to accelerate to 20 knots up to 10% quicker than major competitors' 60 horsepower outboards. Once at cruising speed, the ECOmo Lean Burn Control® technology takes over, adjusting the air/fuel mixture for maximum efficiency.
